Navigating the Knowledge Base
Introduction
The purpose of this article is to outline the Knowledge Base part of the Service Desk.
The Knowledge Base is a compilation of articles and user guides. These aim to cover technology, software and hardware used by our staff and are always a good starting point when support with technology is needed.
Navigating the Knowledge Base
- Sign into the Service Desk (How To Access The Service Desk)
- Once signed in, click the Browse Help Articles tile:
- To find articles, you can either use the Search Bar (Highlighted in Green) or the Categories (Highlighted in Yellow):
- As an example, let's use the Search function to find the guidance on how to reset your password.
Type the word password into the search field (Highlighted in Purple) and then click How to reset your password and unlock your (Highlighted in Blue):
- This will open up the article outlining how to get to the password reset website:
