How to setup a Yealink phone
By the end of this guide you'll have your Yealink phone connected to you Fritzbox ready to make calls. Step 1: Take the Yealink box, the ethernet cable and one of the power bricks Step 2: Connect the ethernet cable and power brick to the Yealink box as shown Step 3: Plug the power brick into a plug socket, then plug the other end of the ethernet cable into the yellow "Lan 4" port on the FritzBox. Step 4: Take the Phone, battery and back and put them together: Step 5: Take the Handset Base and the other power brick and plug them together, then plug it into a wall socket. This will be used to charge the phone. After 5 minutes the phone should sync and you will be able to make outgoing calls. On the day of migration it can take up to two hours for the landline port to be accepted for inbound calls.

Zen Telephone - Yealink Handset Reset
Introduction There may be times when a Zen IP Phone handset needs to be reset. The below instructions are how this is complete. Please do not do this unless requested to by a member of the Digital Services team. Resetting a phone, without informing the provider will cause the configuration to fail and needs to be performed only with prior notice. 1) From the handset, push the middle round button to bring up the phones options. 2) Navigate to the icon of a cog to go into the settings. 3) From the settings menu, navigate down until you get to Option 8 - System Settings. 4) Select the option of Base Reset. This will clear all of the settings - and pull down a fresh configuration for the device. If it asks for a PIN, please can you try entering 0000 The phone will being to reset - this reset can take between 30-60 minutes to complete its reconfiguration.

Yealink Pairing Additional Handsets
The following guide is to be used for when wanting to use more than one handset on a W70B base station, or if replacing an existing handset. 1. Base Station Put the Base Station into Pairing mode, by pressing and holding the wireless symbol for around 3 seconds and you will see the top light start to flash on the base station. You now have about 2 minutes to pair the phones. 2. Handset Ensure that the Base station is still in pairing mode - the top light should be flashing on the Base station as mentioned earlier. If not, then repeat the steps above. On the handset that needs pairing, click OK. If it says Register on the screen, then Select Base 1. The phone should then proceed with the pairing. If it doesn't say Register on the main display then Press OK on the phone Go to the Settings icon Scroll down to Registration > Register Handset > Select Base 1. The phone should then proceed with the pairing. If the phone asks for a code, enter 0000. The handset should now be paired. Please leave 30 mins between handset pairing to allow firmware updates to apply. Any trouble, please contact the DS team at digital.services@brandontrust.org!

Zen Phone Quick Troubleshooting
Below are some of the quickest solutions that have been found for issues with the Zen phones: Error Data Initializing Take out the battery and place back in. No Line Connected Unplug the base station for 10 seconds Provision failed. Reset the phone with the below guide Zen Telephone - Yealink Handset Reset | Knowledge Base | Brandon Trust The phone is not working - check the following things: Ensure that the ethernet cable is plugged into the FON port on the router. It should not be plugged into any of the LAN ports. Reset the router. If the number is being ported, may need to wait 24 hours if the existing phone has gone dead. Check that the router has internet - the phone runs through the internet.
